AMP/DAC
I’ve decided to get the JDS Lab Element II so that I can have it fit my desk setup aesthetics, switch between my HD660S and Bose sound bar. I’ve read/watched about the Element II from Z Reviews and DMS. They seem to really like the Element II so I’ll be getting that.
Modifications
Since everyone told me to NOT mod the HD660S, I’ll just get some better cables.
I’ll be buying the HC-5 from Hart Cable.
The full configuration will be Touch of Grey, STD (4.5ft) and the 1/4" Interconnect.
Routing
So I plug the Element II into the power strip, then connect the Element II to my PC via USB 2. Furthermore, plug the R&L Out to my Bose Sound bar I think… and then I plug in my Hart Cables into the Element II into my HD660S and I’m pretty much set I believe.
Aftermath
So I know the AMP powers my speakers/headphones but is there anything else I can do inside of Windows 10 to get the most out of my HD660S and/or Element II?
Thoughts or concerns
Am I missing anything else? lol
EDIT: Will powering my Bose Soundbar give it any substantial boost in sound/quality? I do enjoy watching movies on my 1440p monitor. I don’t watch it on like a streaming service if you catch my drift.
