THX reference Level

There was a pretty good topic about movies and that got me wondering.
Rather this post get’s lost in Off Topic this might be better place for it.

  • How many you can get to THX reference levels in their current setup and more interesting would be.

  • Hoe many actually uses these levels for watching movie usage?

THX reference sum up.

Since i have the ability to limit volumes to 100db @ 3m, i can easily use movie volumes in 85db range. Sub’s can be easily adjusted to taste.
Go from 0-12db extra for the boost if needed and even more from GLM (bit more work since it’s not connected in everyday use) to full level’s for another ~15db.
Now they are at same level as speakers.
