I’m already getting a Geshelli Labs for the Elex I’m gonna get, but just wondering that if I do eventually decide to get into THX stuff, which way I should go.
I do know there’s also the Drop 789 but I wouldn’t know what DAC would be ideal to pair with it.
But yeah, what THX route would you go? I kinda get the feeling it’d be the SP200 and SU-8 I figure.
I mean, I would say you would probably want to go above thx stuff if you wanted a significant upgrade imo

Thx is midrange, but I think the amp and dac setup you have is already midrange. Something like the cayin iha6 or rupert neve rnhp would be a good choice. You also have plenty of options for tubes too. Dac wise you could get a massdrop airist dac or topping d90 or something like that
