I really liked the headphone awards DMS and Z reviews posted last year for 2018 around this time. Is there gonna be another? DMS? Zeos?
What do you think should be in the Awards this year? I think the SP200. And the Fostex Ebonies. Maybe the M1570. Abyss 1266? will the Aeolus win for best headphone over a 1000$ again?

its hard for me cause im coming from the days when the walkman came out and headphones were being sold everywhere. at kmart and 7-11. You could buy a pair of headphones for 2$. back then the vast majority of headphones were bad, and guess what? the bad ones sounded muffled. flash foward and here i am in this new headphone game and theres a sound preference called “dark” and “warm”, but it just sounds muffled to me, ugh.
Maybe your just into brighter headphones or headphones with a treble focus then. People who have treble sensitivities or people that don’t care much for treble detail prefer things that sound warm or darker because it’s just more enjoyable.
