This is a skip for me. Not a fan of that chart at all.
Iād stick with BGGAR Diamond recs.
Very in depth review of the plus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-24MT_BDQRo
The T2+ gives them all a run for their money and would probably be my pick being a treble head lolā¦
I got the Fiio FD1 yesterday and returned it this morning. Extremely disappointed. Way over the top sibilant treble.
Thatās a shame mate It does seem strange how some sets actually make it into productionā¦as it appears preproduction sets are often sent out to āselectedā reviewers before final tuning takes place
On the positive side, I just received the Mangird Tea. HOLY HELL! Iām in audio heaven.
My set arrived today.
Will have to give them a fair run as they have a very different tuning to my usual collection so my ears need to adjust.
I got mine today. I adore the T2s. I do not like these. They sound harsh in the upper ranges, something I almost never complain about, and the low end is once again missing in action. They are also not sitting in my ears well at all. I have rotated through almost every tip I own and even when I think I get a good seal the sound still seems off, or they end up falling out after a few minutes. I canāt say why that is, because they SEEM to go in really nicely for a second but for whatever reason they really donāt want to stay there.
Canāt recommend them. Regular T2s are still the budget king imo.
same got them in today, knew within 10 minuets of listening that are just too bright for my taste.
Thatās a shame maybe give them time for you both to āburnā inā¦have you tried different tips on them?
yea i used spinfits 360 and tripowin foam tips, still not a fan of the sound, just gonna stick with blon 03s for now
I agree with his take on these. I have tried them a few more times since my initial listen but they are SO fatiguing, itās just too much everything. Theyāre going in a drawer and probably never coming back out.
Just goes to show how personal this hobby is cos in no way do I find them bright or intenseā¦the P1/S8F are way more intenseā¦
That, or much less likely, possible driver variance. I donāt know of any reports of that with them, but Iām just going to always keep that as a possibility in the back of my mind for anything that might be susceptible to it.
I felt what Z said about the T2 Plus was kinda spot on. They werenāt bad per se, but hard to listen to and enjoy for long. Wrote more about it on my blog at: https://www.perrivanaudio.com/post/tin-t2-plus-review
Does anyone know a good replacement for the filters in the T2 Plus? I lost one
They are ~4.5-4.6mm, if that helps. You can buy filters on AliExpress, as to what exact type would best match whatās there Iām not sure though.
