Wow, would you say that you prefer the TIN p1s coupled with blons 03 and switch around for the different sound signatures instead of compromising with the t4s?

Yup, my P1’s now has a new ‘fuller’ case to sit in too. Lol.
I’m really not impressed with the QC on the T4’s though. The stitching on my case is already coming loose. I also noticed a small chip one of the IEM.

Yes, absolutely. That’s how I see the p1 and bl-03 myself. They compliment each other well. And the t4 ain’t got nothin’ on the p1. The reasons I got on it was hype, possible comparisons to the bl-03, it was sub $100, and I got a $20 linsoul coupon. Between the bl-03 and p1 I’m in a spot where I don’t see what the point of buying other IEMs are. I don’t know of a direct upgrade to the p1 and an upgrade to the bl-03 is apparently the Shuoer EJ07 which is, what?, $850? Not sure that’s worth it. So I’m happy when it comes to IEMs right now. Similar to how I feel about IEMs I’ve got an aeolus and just by pad rolling I can make it more warmer or more neutral when I want, so it kind of fills in a spot of having multiple headphones. I don’t think I’ll be making any more iem or headphone purchases for some time. If someone has the power for a p1 then I don’t think there is a better combo for them than the bl-03.

Interesting, I guess the t4s based on what I’ve heard would be a nice upgrade for t2 owners had they not raised the price so much. But if you want the best of the 2 opposite sounds signatures the p1s and the blons seem to be the way to go. Thnx for your input! Quite valuable

The only reason I didn’t pull the trigger on T4 was every reviewer said its gr8 and must buy but i dont think anybody said why, as if there is nothing so special about it. T2s are legendary for its price to performance ratio and probably T4 would have been a proper upgrade if priced under 50$. Also they look kinda cheap compared to T2. The shade on the T2 looks so premium and paired with a DM7 cable it is my priced possession.

As someone who loves the P1s, I don’t really think they are a good IEM for just general purpose-use (too hard to drive). Maybe if you carry around a higher quality portable DAP or AMP, like the Q5S or Q11 I can see it, but not as something you can just take with you and plug into your phone… even the LG V30.
So, IMO, I think it depends a bit on the use-case on the P1s.

The reasons I heard were similar tuning to the Blon-03, but less bass emphasis, which could be preferable to some people. I felt the Blons sub-bass bled a bit too much into the mids, so I was interested and pulled the trigger.

They are not all hype as stated by many people these are certainly not for everyone. But for those who like how the t2 sounds and want a clear upgrade without spending much the t4 are excellent. These are not for anyone looking for bass.

Yeah… I feel like the “hype” was more about Tin finally getting out another “Good” IEM… as the T2 Pro and T3 were arguably a step-down from the T2. These are for people who liked the Blon 03, but felt the bass was a little too over-emphasized and bled into the mid-range. But if you’re happy with the Blon, stick with it. Personally, I’m looking forward to potentially making these my main portable IEM.

Oh yeah that makes sense, now that I think about it I heard from so many people that it’s incredibly hard to drive. I guess I’m such for people who don’t have such things buying the t4 is better
It’s not that hard to drive just a little harder to drive than the blons or t2 but my portable dac amp is still on low gain at 12:00 where 0 is at 6:00 and 100% gain is at 3:45

I’m sure I would. I loved the t2s. It’s just now at over 100 bucks it’s hard for me to personally buy them considering the t2s are half the price.
