I’ve been thinking about switching from silver to copper. Right now, I’m using a one-piece Zavfino Litz silver wire with Bocchino platinum RCAs in my Terminator air bearing LT. I experimented with swapping in my stock copper wire for a while, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it performed, even surpassing the silver wire in some aspects. I expected a warmer sound, maybe with a slight loss in resolution, but didn’t notice any reduction in detail.
I’m seriously considering having another copper wire made, and I’m curious to hear about others’ experiences with copper wires, particularly those who’ve made the switch from silver.
