Feist - Reminder
Steely Dan - Aja (sic!)
The Fishmans - Long season

In this year the following stood out:

Big ups on The Weather Station’s record. That probably would be my No. 4 if I went beyond a top three.

Top ten for me is:

  1. Best pick up of the year for me was the Alligator Records 50 year collection. Three albums of awesome music.

  2. Steely Dan - Northeast Corridor. Fun, new version of the oldies.

  3. I bought my first ever Peter Frampton album, Peter Frampton Forgets the Words. More jazzy than rocky. Full instrumental. Nice.

  4. The Offspring, Let the Bad Times Roll. Another Great Offspring album!

  5. A new live album from Miles Davis and now, one of my favourites: Merci Miles! Live at Vienna. Performed shortly before his death. What a GREAT album and performance. Wish I had been there.

  6. Foo Fighters were kicking it hard yet again with Medicine at Midnight.

  7. The Blue Stones, a great Canadian band, released Hidden Gems. Really good album. :+1:

  8. Big Wreck, 7.1 which is actually an EP. Great little album.

  9. BADBADNOTGOOD is a Canadian jazz outfit. Their new album is called Talk Memory. A change of pace for them and a lot of fun.

  10. Last on the list is a new find, a blues band called Altered Five Blues Band. The new album is called Holler If You Hear Me. This is the fun kind of blues that you want to hear live.

There were other albums that I bought one or a few songs from, but in the above list I bought and enjoy the whole albums. :star_struck:
