Thx ordered silver one looks cool

Currently listening to some Jazz while working but I just gotta point this out:

‘Just Coolin’’ by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers is such a joy with the Mele, along with other Jazz tracks as well but this is quite the highlight. At the 0:39 - 0:55 mark, the right channel is just full of Sax and Drum-my goodness with a nuanced of subtle bass detail on the left and the piano notes in the middle.

After that, the instrumental transitions to the Sax in the left channel at the 2:32 - 2:55 mark is pretty smooth.

At the 4:33 - 4:55, while the piano is the focus in the mids, you can hear the details of the Cello string on the left channel on how that person was plucking it with the drum snare on the right channel.

For the Drum solo lovers, at 6:23 - 8:06 mark, goes for all the drum details on the right channel and it’s quite detailed too! I can’t explain properly on the drum part but for those who listens to drum focused songs can give a better explanation than I do!

Kinda amazing to feel the imaging of the Mele is almost as good as the Fiio FH3 at this point.

Glad you enjoying them

My first comparition was fh3. It’s on a box for sale :joy: has better “technicalities”, but I dont like how it sounds.

First thing i heard in the morning… Thanks for that, my brain just farted.

Did 2 passages, one on Var to get a base, one on Mele.

Mele handles it veryyyy easly. You’ll be more than fine. Kicks are there, sub-bass has texture. Everything else is easy for any IEM. (better replay than Var imo due to kicks, Var as better detail ofc)

Now give me my brain back and buy mele. I just sacrificed my brain for it :joy:

Np bro, already jamming some Lorde. Was thinking about this Variations sub bass texture. Top of the class, for sure. Their best trait imo.

(I left Mele on…)

Royals (2013) :+1: Always remembered her debut song.

I’m 27, but I have music taste of a teenage boy :joy:

I love the whole album (Pure Heroin) , I dont care if it’s teenage boys wet dreams.

Im not engaged by her other works tho.

Wow, beautiful write up!
I agree 100% with this review. The pros, the cons, everything. Who’s the reviewer?

Edit: one missing topic in the review is tip rolling! Luckily there’s been quite a discussion about that topic on this thread :raised_hands::raised_hands:

Reviewers usually avoid it, but now I understand why. Every ear is different. You must try it for yourself

Every IEM reviews I have seen on YT use stock tips, except daddy Z use dekoni foam and spinfits

Yeah that explains a lot

This post is for @Zack_Mason and @nymz already did the test for @Rainlynd so I’ll handle the kpop side of it :joy:

Lisa’s tracks isn’t my kind of song but I can try give a few thoughts.

‘LALISA’ is definitely one sub-bass focus track and it really proves the Mele to the test. The bass rumble throughout the song is pretty good! It doesn’t overlapped with Lisa’s vocals much but it’s a good balance! At the 2:26 - 2:53 mark is a good test for not only the Mele but other IEMs as well on that bass rumble department. The Mele manages to rumble along with it and doesn’t overshadowed her Vocals.

As for ‘MONEY’, it is kind of a similar song to ‘LALISA’ and has the same sub-bass vibe to it like ‘LALISA’. What I explained in the previous track can be said the same here! The Mele is able to handle those really bass rumble tracks!
