The old AUDEZE planar with plastic earhooks and a cable required (iOS only) to get decent soundâŠfor over $1,400 at one point was another one of those WTF things 99% would totally blow off.
Exactly. An iem is only as good if you can fit it and use it for at least a couple hours. The solo reason I would never blind buy something like Z1R.
Oh and dont get me started on price tags. He was using a 8usd earbud and Z1R sounded better to him and he said it looked expensive. Threw something like 100 bucks to the airâŠ

My wife told me she was glad I gifted her a headset, because she doesnât like how iem are complicated to wear and intrusive.
She only tried my Chu, then, and though she liked the sound (to my great surprise: i thought she liked warmer signatures), she struggles everytime she has to put them in. I told myself I should make her try my kbear ks1, but mele could be a great option to test, too.

Hey man, is the Mele out of production for good? Suppliers are telling me discontinued.
Been trying to grab a blue one, have the black already, but you know⊠blue.
Took me awhile to get right with this iem, I mentioned you somewhere else my black one shipped with some funky filters. Wound up settling on some 350 mesh filters and the wide boresâŠsweet! Best movie iems on an ipad.
So the Mele and Ej07M Resin, your tuning = happy camper. Sold the restâŠOlina wasnât my thing, Mele all day long, every day over that one.

The left driver of my mele have bite the dust today at the office. I changed into one of my backup cables and it still got that massive imbalance. 
Couldnât help but feeling bummed about it cause I love how comfortable it is to wear and it really set a benchmark on how comfy wearing IEMs can be during long hours.
Gonna clean it and put it to good rest.
Whats your music? I listen to a variety of genres and I havent heard any lackluster or sub standard playback.
I guess if you need to hear every foot shuffle in an orchestra piece and are searching for low level farts from the pit you may want something more capable of more low level detail retrieval.
But for actual musicality and music enjoyment the MELE are great.
Oh man thats a bummer. I was thinking of picking up a blue pair since the tuning is really excellent.
couple of weeks ago there was still stock on Aliexpress, so you might wanna check that out. I ended up getting a golden one from AMZN

Anyone know of a place where I can source mele fiilters in the US? I know I can order them from linsoul but it costs almost as much to ship them as the filters cost themselves
Did you manage to track down a set? Iâm thinking of selling mine since I have the Kai now.

I am curious to hear the HBB Maka. The Mele was an amazing upgrade over the BL-03, so I have trust in what he is trying to do.
Also if you want a great bargain set the QKZxHBB is a steal at $20.
Same, could be my default gift of sound to people if it beats out the Mele (which for me was beaten out by the Kai) when Christmases and birthdays and just general love gifts come about
