All of you waiting on your Olinas, I can only say that youâre all in for a treat! These things make listening to music a joy, pure and simple! I havenât tried the âfilter on front portâ mod, but with a good seal, these have all of the bass I need (and of great quality to boot)!

Been quietly working with Michael on these variations. Tape is the fun one and better than looks if you are bass tolerant. Mesh is the one that gets you very close to Oxygen but better if you are a stage/3D aficionado.

Iâm surprised at how little the treble region is affected by the modding! Looks like the changes are limited to the mostly the bass frequencies. Amazing! Thanks for the graphs

Unfortunately, I do not have a porch, let alone an open one! So, apparently , my Olina has been delivered to another address. I am extremely f***ed off. Someone, somewhere, has a first 500 Olina, and probably has no idea what it is. If it wasnât for bad luck I wouldnât have any luck at all.

This definitely matches what my ears heard when I played with tape and mesh. What tape was used?

Are you home? It may just be that the delivery person put open porch cause there wasnât a better option

Thanks, it has been kinda busy. I lucked out and got my Amazon US order in early so no lyrics, but it arrived in a few days.
I do think it affects the treble a bit, in that 5k area for people who are hearing something extra there. I noticed in the early reviews people mentioned treble things, I think those things are manifestations of something in that area that goes away with the mesh. One of those things where you look at the graph and say oh, just a 2-3db increase in bass, that is cool. But there is more happening with the mesh than reflected on the graph.
If you donât want to waste a pair of filters, use tape and try it. Same effect but monster bass along with it.

Just clear plastic tape so no airflow.

Holy moly, Olina+tape has more sub-bass than the Mele! Not sure if I can handle that lol.
Also, the more I look at the Olinaâs graphs, the more Iâm surprised that @nymz isnât murdered by the 5k region. Shows how graphs donât tell the whole story, huh?

I dunno, I was also surprised. Guess itâs deep fit or something. Oxygen killed me due to fit.

True. I am sensitive to it, so is Michael and there is something to raising the bass slightly and slowing the air flow. I hear it listening to Olina naked but havenât done so after tape or mesh. Everything falls in place for me with the mesh, in the same way people would describe Oxygen. Plus a hair more bass never hurts.

You have the Oxygen on hand donât you? Iâm curious to compare my Oxygen with the Olina (stock and mesh) because I think my Oxygen already has more sub-bass than the unit HBB graphed. Iâll find out soon enough 
Iâve been home all day, checked all the places it could have been left, and asked the neighbours, but no luck.
