iād vouch for the cp100+ over the cp100, i have wetter earwax and they work much better than the regular versions for long periods of use. moondrop spring tips work well for me as a wide bore, the sony epex11 can be found pretty cheap at four sizes which, if you canāt afford/find final type Es they work as a slightly inferior version, the nicehck clones are of roughly equal quality to the epex11, but much cheaper, but will probably take a few weeks to get to you though, but in terms of price-performance would be the #1 (Nicehck 1set 3pairs(6pcs) L M S In Ear Tips Earbuds Earphone Silicone Eartips/ear Sleeve/ear Tip/earbud For Tf10 Im50 Ie80 Ue900 - Earphone Accessories - AliExpress)
Thank you. Is cp100+ only available on amazon? I order everything from china as local amazons have expensive shipping. Iāll order nicehck for now.
About condensation, does tanya filter mod fix that?
the only way i could fix condensation was to remove the filters entirely, but again i have particularly wet earwax, iām not sure how much a filter-less olina changes the sound signature
Linsoul the model selector says CP100+ but Iād verify that it is with them as all the images are the original. Iād hope they are the + at that price, itās expensive. But they look like the originals, despite it saying CP100+. If you are in SE Asia they are available on Shopee/Lazada, depending on your country, thatās where I got them, around $10 for 2. I also see a Japanese seller on eBay that ships worldwide. The packaging photos on that listing are what they look like, with a circular bubble.
To be honest there isnāt a very large difference between the OG CP100 and the CP100+, the shape is identical, the material is slightly different. I do think the + is a little better, itās slightly tackier and has more retention as a result. But itās not a huge difference, if the price was like double, Iād take the originals.

Iād suspect they get brighter/more treble with no filter, that is what youād expect comparing with what two filters does. Generally on IEMs removing filters (if the filter does do anything- and this one seems to) = brighter.
I totally agree with this, and would say go with the cheaper version. I just got another pack of CP100+ in the mail last weekend, so I have six pairs now, but I do have a couple pairs of the regular ones too.
I like the Final E tips too, but they are even more money than the Spinfits in the US ( that might not be the case where you are ). About the only big name tip I havenāt tried, are Moondrop spring tips. I am not usually a wide bore fan, and I havenāt seen them on Amazon yet.
Yes, of course, no condensation issues when i replaced to Tanya Filter. The sound became more balance, slightly thicker bass and note weight, and less shouty vocal.
SUCCESS!!!
My wifeās new Olinas arrived today, and she loves them. I am STOKED!
She also wanted me to point out that anyone who had a hard time with the outer box sleeve is a woos. She opened the packaging, and barely slowed a moment to smoothly and expertly extract the inner box from the outer sleeve, like she expected worse. When I pointed out that the sleeve had a reputation for fitting very tightly on the box she just shrugged and said āI guess, if youāre a woosā.
Shortly thereafter, she commented on them being incredible, and that they sounded at least as good as my headphone rig. She had them plugged into her ipad at the time, vs the soekris 2541>Vio V281>Elegia chain she was comparing them to. While I canāt rightly compare them, as I only heard 10 ish seconds when getting them set up for her, the fact that she would even make this comparison speaks volumes for the sound these little buggers can produce!
Iā¦I kinda like your lady
I had to rage rip my own first retail sample butā¦ladies are good at opening stuff/self control/ methodical rational thought processes in general soā¦
YOU BUNCHA WOOSES
I identify with this more than I aughtā¦
I caved and pulled the trigger on a pair on tanyas. Crossing my fingers to fixing this condensation issue. Anyone tested tanya filter on the front vent and the nozzle?
I dont like vent mode, narrowing the soundstage and some instruments are more stacked in the middle
I removed the shrink wrap and noticed it was stuck so I had to pop her cherryā¦I just held the box loosely on its side and I just Bruce Lee one inch punched the bottom portion of the box and it slid upā¦I had a more frustrating time trying to open the pouch because I could not find the handle to the zipperā¦There was no Zipperā¦hahaha
Why so much condensation issues? I thought they fixed this issue on mele? Did tripowin tunes these other then was was supposed to? Man add this remove this filter, itās getting crazy.
LOL
Iāll remeber that next time
LOL @ āMele Issueā Itās a metal shell issue for some people.
Geography and climate make no diff or everyone in Brazil and tropics would be pissed.
Some folks get issues because of QC others because their anatomy
Did they tune them to your exact specs or did tripowin change it? So many people adding filters and such? Ivāe never had any set so far i had to modify with filters, tip yes.
It was changed slightly but I approved it.
Iām sorry you are not satisfied. I can understand the frustration. Sometimes I buy gear I am not satisfied with too. I will try to improve in the future. I want people to be satisfied.
The tuning is a preference thing but metal shell IEM have a potential for condensation issues (Mele,Olina, Aria,Starfield and others) have all been subject to this point of fail for some folks.
it seems like its a combination or the metal shell, ear anatomy and the filter they use (which they didnt seem to do anything to fix like Moondrop did). To me, thats the only thing that can explain people no longer having condensation issues when using the tanchjim filters
