Looking at Onkyo A-9010 and wondering, is it worth to get more expensive amp?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer speaker amps are very important
And even the smallest upgrade is noticable so if you ask me I say go for it

Depends on HOW much more you’re going to spend. For just $100 extra dollars, I’d say the Onkyo A9010 does well in its category. If you’re going to spend an extra $200-300, then you’ll hear the difference.
