On a tube amp I have on the site it states…

Tube: 6N8S (analogue 6SN7) (not hybrid)
and
Rectifier: 6C5S (analogue 6X5GT)

Does anyone know if this means that it is safe to use 6SN7 tubes and 6X5GT as replacements? The company is not able to respond super fast these days, they’re in Ukraine.

yes. and you can use adapters to go to a different socket if you want to try tubes outside of those families of tubes.
