For over 2 years I have owned a DarkVoice 336SE OTL amp. It has been nothing but a pleasure to own and roll different tubes into this amp. I own several other tube amps and my number 2 tube amp (a hybrid) is the Little Dot MKIII SE (balanced, class a). I have only tried rolling different tubes twice on this amp. The last pair I rolled in have been everything you would want in a tube amp.
Any recommendations on tube amps under 100? I have some cans(6XX and ZMF among them) that would definitely benefit from tube amps but I want to get my feet wet with something affordable.
I’d be willing to up my budget to 150 if it’s definitely worth it.
I went with the Little Bear B4-X. It was under $100, and sounds great to me with my 660s.
