Only song I liked when they came out with this was Krigsgaldr, and even that one I had to make my own cut of, cos I can’t stand to hear that growling guy in the second half - he’s trying to be sinister/badass or something but he only sounds comical to me and it destroys the feel of the whole song for me.

But if they have newer albums I will check those out because there were many good things also happening in that Krigsgaldr piece and they might’ve repeated that kind of composition at some point.

I don’t like it either. Not bad, but… I know the line can be thin between “badass” and “comical” in dark or violent music, lol. Like it or not, there’s a ton of known and successful metal artists (for example) and to some, they just sounding like either Cookie Monster or… an angry Donald Duck or something.
