Unusual/Unique Artists You're Listening to?

It’s my fault really, I broke my rule to never comment negatively on music posted by others. It’s just the huge contrast between the parts of that song I like and those I don’t, which made it the only time I made my own cut of a song just to be able to listen to the parts I like. It’s something that never happens, so I had to say something. But the reply I got was also justifiedly abrasive, so I left it as it was, there was nothing more to say beyond that point. :man_shrugging:

Like it or not, there are tons of people who won’t like what you like, and reading books won’t magically change their opinions so they become a copy if you. Reading 100 books about country or opera won’t make me like country music or opera either – sorry all, “to each their own” is the only thing that matters in music.

And if you can’t accept this fact, you’ll have a lot of bad days on music forums. So… get over it, and have a nice day.

Honestly, im a big big fan of Heilung. The “badass” things that is described fades completly away. It feels authentic. It goes through your ear into your body and feel it.
Its music to enhance the mind. Its music where you have to fully focus on it and let it do its thing. I think its not even music. I think its not that easy to listen to it without having the mindset for something different in the first place. I wasnt sure what to think about at first too…till i somehow endet up on my journey listenting to Heilung - totally off the world - inside the scenerys they create, totally blown away by the thing i was hearing. They have changed something in my life.
I enjoy the parts were the guys whisper in your ears very much… Probably its some type of Heilung ASMR fetish, who knows  :joy: :joy: :joy:
And Maria Franz Voice is just from another world.

Such a great piece of art. My favourites there are Fylgija Ear, Carpathian Forest, Krigsgaldr and Afhomon. But the whole thing is just so good
I hope i will have the chance to go to one of their life ritual gatherings in Germany next year or so. Dont know when they will be here again.

Someone took the brown acid

I think I had a stroke looking at this band’s name. Why the fuck is it so long? xD

Edit: the name of the band by the way is

Lol I knew it’d be a grindcore band just from that name. To my surprise, they don’t have a wikipedia page

yeah they probably won’t since their name is too fucking long. Reading their name is stroke inducing.

@Hazi59 @WaveTheory not sure if you guys have seen, first few Sigur Ros albums the box is very prominent, alot of fun on guitar for soundscape/drone stuff

Sun and Moon reminds me of Sun Kil Moon. His songs some times have a storytelling style, for example in Carissa, he talks about his cousin(with the same name) dying in a freak accident.

“Violin, reinvented” indeed. Saw them on TV and bought the CD.
This entire album is… another world.

Yvette Young, anyone?

Honestly I don’t really like where BABYMETAL has been going with their recent stuff. Still an interesting vid though
