Unusual/Unique Artists You're Listening to?

Unkle, maybe not the most out there or strange but not the most mainstream

Cujo — if it’s the same Cujo — is a name that was used by Amon Tobin. Did one album ā€œAdventures in Foamā€ under that name.

Standout song title at least…

I’ve been away too long……slipped and fell into an 80’s synthwave and drowned in a dark synthwave.

In reply to the synthwave, this one is much more ambient but if you give it a listen, real good.

I’ll share this here. Oddly enough he’s kinda mixing flamenco and metal, or flamenco/djent… fladjentco :no_mouth: nevermind.

Distance is a ā€œtrueā€ dubstep UK artist that’s not very well known.

Um… the antithesis of ā€œaudiophileā€ music. Or maybe the ultimate form.

LOL

Good point
As one who understands all the weird extreme electronic music i lean more to the ultimate form. But thats subjective. I“ve reached the ultimate sonic experience many many times while listening to things like breakcore or japanese mashcore (96glass) - stuff thats for many people just pure crap and noise that hurts the ears, the brain, humanity, i dont know. The chaos is not for everyone, but thats ok
On the other hand, i think, beautifully crafted music like Heilung or so many other acoustic things are so ā€œaudiophileā€ aswell. Im glad to understand both sides of the coin.

I have actually listend to the exact cleric mix yesterday haha!

I just found out all these weird albums are dumped to a website (removed link because may not be a fully legal archive, I see some stuff I recognize is still sold). Gonna probably make some CD-Rs with the album art as well for shits and giggles.

I feel like this breakcore/mashcore/lolicore stuff is to EDM like free jazz is to jazz. It’s so fringe, but I unironically love it.

This Jimmy Broadbent link was music to my ears too but I think you put it here by mistake. :stuck_out_tongue:

Man I love 8bit gaming. I cant not laugh at one of there videos. Not really sure what that has to do with this thread however? Am i missing something?

I have a feeling for some reason you’re (and @LeDechaine) not seeing the right YT link
I pulled from my liked videos playlist so maybe something went screwy lol

That’s weird. I’m sure I saw the right ones. That second one only has 22 views. How’d you even find it lol
