I have been using these headphones for three years, along with the fiio e10k.
I want to make an improvement.
I would like your opinion about the headphones and the dac/amp, I have read at least 100 reviews and I am not able to choose, there are too many.
Only for competitive FPS.
Open or closed it doesn’t matter.
Budget 300 euros should be enough or am I wrong?
Of course, more if the DAC/AMP needs to be changed.

for gaming first and music second, that is a solid choice. if want something that’s more balanced for gaming / music, then see what the HiFiMan HE-400se is going for. it’s so good!

Only Gaming fps. Mostly battle royale. What about the hd560s?

I don’t know about the HD560s, but the HE-400se are just excellent, even if you don’t intend to use them for music.

For competitive only the ones I’d pick after using all of these is:
Audio Technica ATHAD1000x kingpin for gaming, soundstage and imaging so good.
Beyerdynamic DT880 250 ohm
Final Audio VR3000 (IEM made for VR and gaming)

For competitive FPS, you’re looking to upgrade, right? With a budget of 300 euros for headphones and maybe a new DAC/AMP, you’re on the right track. Both open and closed options are cool. Maybe consider the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro or Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X for headphones. For DAC/AMP, a Schiit Modi 3+ or FiiO K5 Pro could be solid
