My USB dongle (iBasso DC04 Pro) accidentally unplugged while my Momentum 4 were connected to it via an audio cable. The headphones were powered on, ANC was on, and they were playing audio. After that, plugging the headphones in via the audio cable while they were on caused an audible pop, no matter the source or cable. Then, the headphones wouldn’t turn on in wired mode, no matter how hard I tried. Seemingly progressively getting worse. At last, I factory reset the headphones, and now they won’t even connect via Bluetooth because of some “security error”, message appearing on my phone. Did I fry them? What about warranty? Or is this just a QC error? Keep in mind that the pop usually does happen when unplugging the DAC’s USB while headphones are plugged into it. It just hasn’t fried any of my wired headphones (yet).

Wondering is the iBasso recommended by Sonova Consumer Hearing?
Might not be covered by warranty with the chain of events that happened.
Reset and BT. Did you un-pair them from phone after the reset?
Usually. Devices need the be un-paired and re-paired after similar reset situation.
Would try pairing with another phone just to test.
Sonova never mentioned iBasso, as far as I’m aware. I did unpair the headphones after resetting them.
