I’m looking to upgrade my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S8 to a OnePlus 7 Pro. The 7 Pro has nearly everything I’m looking for in a phone except, of course, a headphone jack. Since the 7 Pro doesn’t come with an adapter in the box, I’m forced to buy one separately.

I have been trying to find reviews to some decent adapters but I’ve barely found anything. The Spectra X is a bit more then I want to spend and the HIDIZS Sonata isn’t available on Amazon atm. Do any of you know of any decent dongle DAC/adapters?

I’m currently listening to a pair of TIn T2’s but plan on either “sidegrading” to the KZ ZS10 Pro’s, or upgrading to the Ikko OH1 at some point in the near future. Stream through Tidal HiFi.

Do you want small as possible? If not, the Audio Quest dragonfly is an option. If I were you I’d just get the Apple Type C adapter while keeping an eye out for better upgrade options like the HIDIZS.
