Thank you, I will. NRL22 sounds like such a fun series. What are you thinking about looking into? What is your budget? What is your preferred mag range? What are the specs you need?
It’s been such a fun series so far. I think I prefer as much magnification as I can get since I also shoot a little bit of benchrest and a few long gong matches all with the same rifle. I have really liked the Leupold Mark 4HD because of locking turrets and rev indicator on the elevation I don’t know how I feel about the reticle and the ones I’ve looked through (6-24) have a very fine center dot that can be a little hard to pick up (when shooting NRL, great for benchrest though) once you lower the power down around 16x also feel like the glass quality isn’t much if any better than the Ares and personal I feel like the color is a bit washed out and suffers from chromatic aberation which is kind of a deal breaker for me. As far as budget goes I’m a little strained right now since I’ll be getting married in October but after that the plan is to save up and I’ll be willingly to go up Vortex Razor Gen 3 (street price) as far as price goes but I recently seen your Razor Gen 2 review so now I’m considering one of those if I can find one a decent amount under the Gen 3. However I haven’t personally looked through either so who knows I might hate them in person.
Wedding’s add up way to quickly, and get way to expensive. Godspeed with that! The good thing is you could always sell whatever your not using/dont like and move onto something else. Razors are really good in the HPVO world. Especially if you dont mind the added weight.
