What are you listening to right now?

Recently I hooked up that 10 year old Sony Blu-ray spinner and watched this one again. I was 11 when Star Wars hit the theaters in 1977 and have strong memories of John Williams work because of it.

I enjoy this one mostly because of Rey

Great tune. Panic is one of the loudest bands I’ve seen live. There’s a reason why its lead guitar player, Jimmy Herring, is called Jimmy No Hearing.

Probably should have only been a double album, but still a great record by the greatest band ever!

You keep on Talkin’

Inspired by hearing ‘Electricity’ by OMD in his father’s car when he was a child. A dreamy, modern take on 80s synth. I first heard them on Bandcamp and get a notice whenever they release a new track there. It’s not something I listen to often but when I do I enjoy it for what it is…well done young man.

I’ve got 4 versions of this album including SACD. The very first CD is still the best but this 40th anniversary has some good live from '85
