New test track I’ve been A/B testing the Hiby R4 and R6 gen 3. Also testing a couple new headphone pick up’s from Canjam Dallas
I find myself slower to come across “new” artists these days. Partly due to that I’m just older (busier) coupled with the fact that I am physically removed from the Seattle/west coast scene where I once lived (at least that is what I tell myself to feel better).
With the above statement as my preface; I just came across this group while taking a Friday evening stroll through KEXP performances on the YouTube.
And so now I’m currently listening to their most recent album “I wish You More Than Luck” to be followed by working backwards in time through their remaining discography this evening.
Visiting with another old friend.
Taking the Penta P50 out for a spin. This set is the most nuetral/analytical set I have. They do vocals extremely well, which comes in handy when listening to CSN.
Wow, this is really good. Thanks for the discovery and tip!
Good eve. Currently enjoying this gem from DMJ
It’s headphone night (I have been kind of IEM focused lately) and I am thoroughly enjoying My LSA HP-2. I love the drivers this thing has. When paired with a silver cable and the SA-1 the combo creates an exceptional listening experience.
While I celebrate Veterans Day (Deepest appreciation for all who served) I Was doing some morning trolling and came across a very exciting new release. It’s an epic new project by Neil Morse called “No Hill For A Climber”. Absolutely incredible work being done here by a totally different crew! An instant Prog masterpiece.
For the folks that listen to hip-hop
I just found this Young Jeezy song, I love the bass and female vocal and snare hits. It’s great in Dolby Atmos, but not bad either on SD.
