So listening to my Blon B20, I’m enjoying the sound but can’t figure out why I keep bouncing between those and my pc37x’s (I don’t know why I’m drawn to that headphone so much). Regardless, after deciding the Elex were too expensive I pulled the trigger on the LCD X. I know it doesn’t sound logical but I see people getting tired of the Elex and not the LCD X. I’m just hoping I won’t want the LCD 3 instead… or Arya.

Regarding those weird translations from China I can’t but wonder why they don’t give a shite if it’s wrongly done and/or just ridiculous. Then I realize that when there are 1.5 billion potential buyers in your own country, selling overseas probably is not that important and just can’t be bothered…lol.

It went well, I’ve been using it for the last two days and it’s pretty sweet. I really like the sound signature, it’s tilted slightly warm but still with tons of detail and sounds very “musical”. Compared to my Q5S more cold and analytical signature I’m enjoying it very much. Haven’t had any trouble powering anything I’ve thrown at it either. Was able to power hd6xx with half volume on high gain no problem

I really like Codenames. If you enjoy it there is a variant that uses pictures instead of words, I’ve now forgotten the name, that is also a lot of fun.

My Sundara showed up yesterday and I listened for 2 hours last night. This morning I attempt to listen and the left driver died already. These are going back tomorrow and I will just buy some Nighthawks and save up for a future DAC upgrade.

I bought from Amazon, so easy return. I used to own Nighthawks and I only sold them at the time to help fund my ZMF Atticus purchase.

The Sundara appeared to be the revised version, but I had no way to confirm.

Oof… That sucks man. Amazon seems to have a lot of bad quality control when it comes to electronics such as reselling returns as brand new and the like. Maybe you fell victim to one of these. I’m gonna be buying a pair of sundara soonish but I think I will definitely avoid Amazon haha. Better luck with the nighthawks

I’ve had mostly good luck with Amazon. Bad luck with Hifiman and Schiit in particular, unfortunately.
