I forgot to post it but last week I acquired a pair of focal listen professionals
A very nice pair of single cable monitoring headphones. Highly efficient and easy to drive and they sound great too. If people are looking for a decent daily driver and dont want to carry around a portable amp with them I highly reccomend them
Theres a non pro version. They seem to come with different pads. Huh. Link for pros

I think they look nice too, something I would wear in public (unlike the other focals lol)
I’m not as big of the regular listens, as I think the pro’s have a more refined signature
The regular focal type headphones are freaking massive compared to these and…
I got to be honest outside of the diana’s phi 2s I dont think I would take most audiophile headphones out in transit compared to professional headphones like my 280 pros, listens etc which often have very un ostentatious designs.
I live in a big city and the last thing you want is drawing that much attention to yourself. And not in like oh no get mugged way. More just the really uncomfortable way when you keep catching people’s attention.
Imagine getting on a streetcar with a pair of erzetich headphones

Honestly I want to wear my 1266’s outside for shits and giggles at one point. I wear weird shit at work and my coworkers can’t say anything because I’m so high up huehuehuehue
Also I wish they made a foldable focal elegia that was more toned down in the looks, would be nice

Yeah it’s a nice headphone but not quite as portable as I would like
I do get a laugh at how some audio companies think a fancy case is a good solution.

I genuinely dont like any case. Not the dan Clarke audio ones for their new headphones. Not the stellias, not the genuinely smaller case for my listen

Oh yeah finally got the topping pa3 amp for my micca rb42s. Actually had canceled the Grey version since the black one had one day shipping as an option haha. So they should arrive tomorrow. Banana cables too. FINALLY I’ll be able to actually hear the speakers lol

Without a doubt. Honestly I’m curious about the sound signature in general. Even tho I did watch the video on them by Z I guess I didn’t pay attention since I know nothing lol. Kinda just jumped in. But since you and Z are all over them I figure I can’t go wrong. I’ll make sure to write up a review on em and share it with you
