lol fast food builds character quick worked in one for years up till last year. learned a lot but also got me a lot of free food.
Iāve worked for Wendyās and a Chinese restaurant (the owners where actually from China, and hated anyone who wasnāt Asian). Now a pizza place that my sister works at a different location, my younger brother has pissed off the owners with how he quit (the owners had made him manager, and while they where out of town, he quit over text), and they are friends with my step-dad. Dispite NEVER wanting to set foot in food service again, beyond the cafe I ran the kitchen at, weāll see how this goes.

Facts. I was fortunate enough to graduate around the time of the 2008 recession and even with my degree I worked for an entire summer delivering pizzas. Iām not too good to work. I think that mentality has helped get me where I currently am today.

Ampsandsound Bigger Ben finally delivered today and set up. Iām putting it through the paces, but so far itās delivering what I was hoping for. The Seahorse case it shipped in alone was a pretty great impression, but thankfully its sounding really good with all the headphones and speakers Iāve hooked up to it so far. Iāll give more impressions in a couple weeks once I have my head wrapped around it:

@M0N The first headphones Iāve plugged in were the Verites and HE6SE because I know I never really properly drove them before, and both sounded way better than Iāve heard them sound before. But, I would have been disappointed if that wasnāt the case.
@Rhodey Yes, stock silk wood on the Verites. I originally ordered them with a black grille, and then saw some pics with silver and changed my order. Iām glad I did, I really like the way they look. I wish I had the patience to cable manage like you do though. You should have seen the disaster I had to disconnect before I set this up

The only reason I asked about the wood was because it has a lot of detail. Kinda reminded me of a Burl in a way. Looks really good.

Eikons are Camphor Burl, and the grain pops a little more than the Verites in person, but Zach doesnāt make too many ugly headphones that Iāve seen. I was debating the Ironwood when I bought the Verites, but I didnāt want to drop the extra cash

Iāve also got the Eikons in camphor burl and Auteurs in cocobolo with black hardware. My Verites will be closed, though, and Iām getting a Pendant amp. Both of those are still in the pipeline.
FWIW, 800S and Empyreans have also both been on my want list for a long time, but Iām in no rush thanks to Focal. 
In any case, Iām also looking forward to your impressions, particularly because weāve got essentially the same ZMF lineup and will have similar amps.
