Well… the entire V280 is quite big, the weight/$ ratio is higher than most SS amps

I don’t think it’s anywhere near as tall though. The V220 is a Tall, Long box.
I thought a remote control was overkill but
A) It is Really nice.
B) The amp is behind my shoulder so this is kind of handy.
C) It is fun to use.

Just purchased the new Schiit Modius (https://www.schiit.com/products/modius) in black. This will be my first dedicated DAC and it will feed into my Atom & XCan. Definitely an impluse purchase but I wanted to pull the trigger before it invariably winds up on back order.

That’s what it’s made to stack with, it has a dedicated single ended output stage so apparently there isn’t a significant quality loss (I would assume)

Just seems like a waste. Would rather another E30 for single end.
Others could come up with the idea to add a jotunheim.
Though with the dedicated single ended output stage, this and a Asgard- could be a thing!
And who does not like some velvet AK4493 in the chain?

Balanced DAC, wonder how this would pair with my 789…
The RebelAmp was actually in stock for a hot minute last week. Then they were gone. Arrived today and is all hooked up. Hopefully worth the wait.
