What did you buy today? (Part 1)

Man, “little dot” is “growing”…

I mean, I often see 100$-ish tube amps etc. from Little dot. This is new.

Their checkout form only allows you to select US :disappointed:

It does state in the description, it’s designed for high impedance headphones.
I’m interested in what you think.

I was shocked to see this. It’s the result of another thread here asking about a hybrid amp

Reviews on Amazon mention powering LCD 3s and Hifiman HE6Ss on them

It looks like 2 little dots stuck together. I suppose that could make it a “little colon.” Probably would sell even fewer with that name…

I may or may not have gotten fed up with the cheap piece of shit that wasnt letting me get any of the managers chat messages for work and bought a new phone… Didnt have the fucking time to wait for the phone fuckers to show up at Wally World, so I ended up snagging the A50 rather then the A51…

bought that phone for my little brother’s christmas present a while back pretty good phone. design reminds me of my one plus 6t.

Did order a Cavalli tube hybrid for 175$ but I guess should order iem cables too - I lost count on how many 2.5mm cables I have broken…

e: Did also order a Reflector 6H23p-EB / 6922 (Premium) for 60 bucks :stuck_out_tongue:

Damn here we go again…
It is a clear upgrade in my DAC section, the detail is better, way more transparent and a whole new level of instrument separation. We may soon be enough to make an Ares ii gang :smiling_imp:

Balanced to my monolith THX and rca to my Cayin tube amp.

BTW… my wife says all of you have a bad influence on me

Nice. Be sure to post some impressions and comparisons when you have the chance. I’m still eyeing this as my first R2R. I’m hoping for something that can give a noticeable better sense of detail even if I don’t have an exceptional ear for it

I am all about detail and this is for sure not a bad choice re that. The noise floor is more or less gone, there is NO background noise. This makes it even easier to get the details.

I have 1 hr listening time now and it is one of my best audio purchases :+1:t3:

I have used this some times now, but I totally agree with the message:

Following… I really like my Monoprice desktop but I keep seeing this, never heard an R2R

I can just say, that it is awesome, it is a bargin for the price and the NOS function elevates the output imo. A dac that can overdo this is a very expensive dac, so I am happy, this is an obvious steal and an easy recommendation.

What are your previous three rounds? I threw a set of Electro Harmanix when I got mine and left it there. Heard a lot of good things about using Shuguang Treasure CV181-Z in the right side gain stage. Don’t want to start rolling now but curious as to your experience so far.
