Polaris2’s. Low end indeed, don’t find the mids as recessed as I’ve heard. Very fun and far from linear, which is exactly what I was after, going to be an enjoyable night : )

My plans changed after doing some extended listening. Some of the frequency regions need more control and the bass needs more impact and tightening. The speedball only being $115 made it an easy decision.

Oh right on. Well I hope it rectifies the issues you’re having with the amp :+1:

B-stock Sundara for €285 with 2 year warranty and 2 week money back guarantee from Italy.

Especially interesting for Europeans if you’ve always wanted to try these out. 2 more available on eBay.

Diana V2 Club!

HAHAHAHA. I got DT880s and a different ZMF after I thought I’d stop with the V2.

I thought they offered the DMS modded Diana’s at one point unless I’m mistaken. If they did, was it time limited?

Should I get a Sabaj D5 or an Ifi Black Label?
(need a second dac head amp for another set up in a separate room. I want balanced but getting a balanced adapter for a zen dac will take weeks when the dacs can be here tomorrow/fridat

Those are pretty different sounding, the micro black label is going to be way more warm and smooth, where the d5 is going for something pretty clean and neutral. Both are solid but serve pretty different purposes I feel
