Stock tubes are good, I prefer the Mullards, there are 4 or 5 NOS tubes you can try, they’re all dirt cheap if you want to roll, biggest challenge is finding them in small enough batches.
But yours will never match mine, it’s crippled because you didn’t get the cat.
Very, very quiet from what I can tell. I haven’t noticed any kind of hiss but I don’t have any particularly sensitive IEMs either. I would expect it does very well with sensitive ones as well.
I tried some very sensitive iems on mine and it handles them really well, noise floor is really good for this price range, it’s typically not this low (well most amp/dacs aren’t as good as the s1 in this price range lol)
Bought November 23rd, but received today. I have been wanting to try these for at Least a year. They never go on sale in Canada and the used ones are expensive and go pretty quick.
Weird thing is that the shipping box is the storage box. I have never seen that before. Is that just to show that the LCD-2 Classic’s are cheapies or is that with all Audeze?
Hello,
No that is so.
As I have read from the mostly test comes so out of the box.
There is also no extra case and so there…
I have also ordered one that comes tomorrow.
Also ordered as B goods where only unpacked was from the previous seller.
Sure you could have put for the money nich bit what purely and if it had only been a chisel.
Am very excited about how he beats and it meets my requirements profile.
The LCD-2C and LCD-X have what Audeze calls the “Music Creator Package”, which doesn’t include a balanced cable or pelican case like a standard package.
Also, you have a newer 2019/2020 model because the backside damping is mesh. If it was a felt or foam it would be an older model.
Some music arrived in the mail today… Back friday offer (or rather “black week” as the sale was going on all week), took its time to be shipped, but at least its here now (think the Mad Season album was not in stock).
