Last year I picked up some Blon 03 and was really surprised on the sound quality. Like IEMS have always been some of the best bang-for-buck SQ wise going back 5+ years, so never seen a need to go over $50 for how little I used them.
But as of late, I find myself really loving IEMs and using them often. Lovely for DJing, working with glasses on, isolation, much better comfort, and that SOUND.

I get that lol. I picked up some Xelastics to try them out and love them.
My ears are odd to the point of where Iāve just accepted. Have to always use a size up in my left, position it differently, and size down in might but an average IEM position applies to that one.
Geez, ears are weird. Especially with losing weight.
Back when I was BIG, I fit xs just fine, then somehow jumped to small, and eventually medium without noticing muchākinda just hopped to sizes without thinking about it.
Then I just starting thinking, āIEMs lack bass, huh?ā and settled for it.
Got Blons and just ran with the smallish large they came with, really enjoyed that. But kinda figured that I was losing a little of my hearing in my left ear.
Then I went for true large in my left, medium in my right. OMG I was missing out for so long!
Havenāt tried Xelastics, but my Spitfit 100s do good. Large in my left, medium in my right, with the tips slid down all the way for more shallow and secure fit. Spinfits 360 do well too, but I donāt like the sound as much on the Blons vs other IEMs.
These things sound crazy, gonna give them some hours over the weekend but so far iām into it. Stock wire sucks really bad though. These the right harts?
My first woodies lol. Very pretty, fits nicely, cable is 2000% better than Koss shit despite still being a rubbery material (seems similar to my AD900x cable).
Holy crap do they scream. slight bump around ~800kHz (actually like that), but the real problem to my ears are massive peaks at 3.5kHz and ~7.5kHz. With the right recordings they actually do sound amazing but as someone who listens to a lot of treble-heavy J-coreā¦ ow. Nanahira sings a good 10dB louder than she should, snares and cymbals are ear piercing, violins have an unatural level of overtone.
Even so, they are growing on me. Or maybe Iām losing my hearing very rapidly. :^)
Also seller was nice to send this paper crane with it. How sweet.

Put an order in for Zampotechās SW51+ tube amp, looking like it wonāt come until April but from what Iāve heard about it Iām sure itāll be worth the wait. Also hoping the LP goes on discount soon, been eyeing it for a while now (or I may just take the slight risk that is going with the open box route).

I WAS NOT drinking and shopping this time. However I did succumb to peer pressure. Iām not saying names ( cough @sa11297 cough) who pressured me. Please enjoy the fact Iām use the Bifrost 2 to thaw out the Sagra before use.
