itās my first tube amp really hype to play with it. itās my understanding the LD2 and DV occupy a similar space in terms of cost and performance with the darkvoice being a pure tube. I was mostly looking at a darkvoice until this LD popped up on Avexchange for dirt cheap

The seller included stock tubes, GE Jan, Voshkod, Sylvania and Western Electric driver tubes, as well as stock power tubes and upgraded Voshkod power tubes. One of the power tubes shattered in shipping hope it wasnāt the voshkod but will take a closer look when I get home.

Yes, it does have an internal DAC, initial impressions are very good, if everything on it works, it has an impressive array of features for both HP and speaker use. Iām not sure how to figure out which model DAC it came with, older unit, no box or papers.

SVS ultra bookshelves came in today, just started listening 20min ago, so far really good. Really shiny.

Really nice speakers, def enjoy mine. Do let them break in, it was fairly significant for my pair (all that means is play them at a bit higher volume than normal for a few days lol)
Yeah I asked the guy I bought them off of and apparently they have less than 30 hours of use so will definitely be putting them through the gauntlet the next few weeks.

I wonāt go into much detail, because frankly I am still listening to my music at the momentā¦but the RNHP has exceeded my expectations. Iāve only spent 5 hours with them so far, so much more listening needs to be had. Great purchaseā¦ok back to musicā¦

Not buying anything lasted 3 months. I really need to re-evaluate myself. 
Seriously, I trust you guys. Too many of you prefer this to THX amps so I had to give it a try.
Next week-end is going to be fun. Wilder vs. Fury 2 & RNHP vs. 887. Loser goes to AVExchange.

Gold dial is a nice touch. gold necklace on a pig. i think its better suited to a white dail, to match it clinical design

Yeah, not sure how I feel about that gold dial if Iām honest. I guess options are nice?
Somebody should get a leprechaun puke green dial like the Rebel Amp so that the dial matches the RNHP Input Select green lights, lol.
