What did you buy today? (Part 2)

Could be I just thought to much from the pictures

Ordered this instead of upgrading my iBasso DX160 to a 170 this chip the CS43131 is the upgrade. And 280mw @32ohm is decent power.

Actually almost twice as much as the SHIO that I love with a newer chip. R.I.P.

Bought them for mid-season boating and work being comfy, waterproof and light…what did you end up with?…might be good for summer stuff here in the UK :+1:

I ended up with Vibram Five Fingers (Vibram V-Trail 2.0), second pair already, and they are my favourite for outdoor activities such as hiking for example. Very good control and grip
I imagine them to perform very good on a boat aswell as they also dry quickly and are very slip resistant.
The feeling of having something between your toes can be irritating for some folks but it was no problem for me and i got used to it very fast.

My choice for the office or casual day to day (not so much for hiking) are Leguanos (Leguano Energy).
The knobs underneath the soles gives you the feeling of walking on clouds and the soft fabric around the foot is just VERY comfortable, these are also great house shoes

They are waterproof, crushproof, shockproof, you name it proof! But don’t let the look fool you, these are pretty darned comfortable!

Yeah that one. But I got it for $80. Still a little steep but it’s a pretty nice cable overall

Bought an Apple USB-C 3.5mm adapter, a 3.5 to RCA cable, and RCA to TRS adapters. All that is to feed the LA90 for my work desk just to satiate my curiosity about having a minimal “objectivist” setup with stupid levels of overhead for headphones (also since I’ve been a bit hesitant to sell larger equipment lately due to a shipping mishap.)

Beyond just having a no-frills setup as reference, there are actually merits to having something goofy/measurement-based like this, even compared to my 2541->AMP-13R combo. I’ll probably expand those thoughts some point with comparisons.

What 3.5 to RCA cable did you get? I’m in the market myself.

Kind of regret selling my Elegias. Just a little. My next step in Focal closed backs - skipped over the Celestee but didn’t make it all the way to Stellia.

Just went with the Amazon Basics male-to-male one. Cheap and pretty solid.
