Oh, mind explaining how it went? So your old P5 died, you told the seller, they told you to send it back (and you have to pay a shipping fee) but you did not want that, so they sent you a new free P7 instead?
Yeah I have to admit, the shipping fee was a pain in the ass at first and luckily though the fee is not as expensive as the IEMs so I can live with it. Also the one I have returned is basically the P7s that had QC issues on its left ear piece for the bass rumble and weight is just gone from it, making my P7s not sound the same anymore. But yeah, I guess saying that they are being a good sport is stretching it a bit, but they did shipped me a new one after being instructed to get this item from their store and they’ll ship the new replacement to me.

The ND Planet arrived today. I am only a few songs in, but these are pretty damn good.
If it had a bit better build quality and cable, it could be confused for something a couple price brackets higher. Well worth the $16.

I really gotta stop myself from buying beater sets and really focus on getting IEMs that are on the upper echelon. Then again pricing does not always equate of it being better, for it can be a crapshoot for me, especially for me, for I am still learning things that are new and old from this hobby.

This is good advise.
I get enjoyment out of finding good bargain sets, and I tend to always have someone looking for gear between work, kids and grandkids.

Getting back to actual watches again. After years of using a smartwatch (and the hassle of keeping it charged and the distractions it actually gives when you need to concentrate).

Nice choice right there, for I have the same IEM as well. Unfortunately the first set of P7s that I got had some QC issues on the left earpiece and I hope that one won’t be an issue for you. Luckily it got replaced recently and it is working fine again. As for the tip rolling? It’s still a challenge for me I admit, that’s why I am still waiting for the Penon Liqueurs to arrive just to see if that is going to finally fulfill the seal and comfort that I want from the P7s.

yeah, im using the CP100 spinfits small on them and the fit is perfect in my ears. Of all the IEMS I have, they are very high as far as comfort, especially for a universal shape. Lucky with them there.

Finally arrived and this is looking promising from Fiio. I hope I won’t be facing some issues in regards to the filters for I’ve heard the default filter for the K11 that is setup on it is not really good when it comes to the sibilance, but I’ll see if that is true. I need to test this more now and to hear how it really sounds, for this is pretty much replacing my old ifi ZEN DAC V1.
EDIT: It turns out there is an R2R version of this and I didn’t know that it was a thing. I am not gonna express some buyer’s remorse since this is what I saw first and I am not sure if there are any improvements on the recent R2R version. If it does, I am gonna take my losses and just use this.

OK I that cable and the ear pieces. How are you getting along with them?
Deuce? I like quite a bit. It’s bassy but the vocals are not lost in the mix. I don’t get any brightness or sharpness in the upper mids or treble which is good. Timbre is good. Definitely not a neutral set but a very good bassy set for hip-hop and techno. The fit is perfect for me.
