the minute you find a combination that works well for you for the love of god, stop there.
or you end up like me and realize you probably have decades of product sitting on a shelf and only one face to shave.

If only there was a parallel we could draw to audio
Would love to hear your impressions on those IEMs
Just got the A4000. Don’t really have any expectation, but so far it’s been pretty good. It’s really comfortable and lightweight, I can see myself wearing this for hours. From listening to 1 or 2 tracks, I don’t find anything offensive from how they sound. The cable is really soft, but measures pretty bad at 870mΩ. I would love to experiment with some cables, but there’s a notch in the 2 pin socket. So I don’t know if usual 2 pins will fit in there.
You learn to make space in this hobby. lol
Trying new amps is like meeting new people, you never know when one will become a lifelong friend. So you make space for as many “new friends” as possible
One of my all-time favorite headphones that I still use daily. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Cheers!
Sweet!

The M200 is here! It arrived late yesterday, so I didn’t have much time to play other than get it connected up and get a first basic listen. Here she is with her siblings, the leaning tower of audio goodness!
I know a lot of people seem to have an issue with the styling queues SMSL decided to go with for this product, but frankly I like it. Also, Zeos mentioned that his M200 case was different in look and texture than the SP200 he had, and you can see it in his video. However, my M200 is a perfect match to the SP200 in every way, so that is a relief.
And the sound? Holy Shit. I know it’s very early days and I have only a few hours on it so far, but Holy Shit. I see that there is a M200 entry in the DAC section, so I will do a more detailed writeup there. But yeah, so far so good!
A very nice Serge utility knife I bought from a coworker today. The handle is anodized titanium that’s been stonewashed which gives it the weathered look. What’s great about it is how rigidly the blade is held in place. As far I know, there’s nothing else on the market gives you that
Serge Knives mainly produce knives which have sort of a steam punk look.
It looks nice, and I bet it would handle some abuse… But I can’t help but be a bit concerned with practicality and safety, particularly with so much of the blade exposed and the process you have to go through to change the blade.
Well if you think of it as a regular folding knife, Safety is not a concern. Changing the blade is easy as it’s just a couple screws
Then I start to question blade strength, edge retention and blade geometry.
@marcgii I like it. How wide is the handle and is it comfortable in your hand? I can see one doing finer, more detailed cuts with this.
Yeah it’s definitely best suited for smaller more precise applications. Like stripping insulation off a cable. The handle is comfortable. But it’s small compared to most other utility knives
Lease end purchase, she’s a bit of a sleeper (these are from 3 years ago but still looks this good)…
I think the plate goes in the middle of the gray rectangle
