Yeesh, sounds like you need this weekend pretty badly after a day like that! Hope next week goes better!
It’s rare they self-identify as lost instead of the updates just never changing, and waiting for the buyer to chase it up. Weird! And sorry for the misfortune.
Got lucky in that regard, all sorted out so it ain’t too bad
Finally got my preamp all hooked up & I’m sweating like a plow mule having done it. How could that be so hard? My system is cluster fk. The preamp is all unbalanced in & out. My
speaker amps & sub are balanced input. Had to trace everything & install 2 line converter boxes. Still have to try to organize the cables too. Im not good at organizing.
Like I said I’m not a good organizer. I forgot that one of my converter boxes works both -10/+4 & +4/-10. I only need that one. The C165BEE also have a very nice headphone amp built in.
Spent the day traveling to the airport and am now sitting in my plane to India
10 weeks oy Yoga and exploring ahead
Kinda Lava, Hiby R6III and BTR15 as my compagnions, but for now the board system will do
Safe travels, man. Enjoy the ride.
Thanks a lot!
Enjoy your +
Range afternoon!!!
Just shot my first level par round after having knee surgery and an accident earlier this year.
Thank fuck for that - was getting dispondent about my play since getting injured.
I didn’t do this today technically but I did it a few days ago. I have decided to replace of my G502X’s stock cable with an aftermarket paracord cable that is much lighter and softer, making my mouse even better at handling, using and lighter than its initial weight. Still not done modifying this though, for I am still waiting for the sticker grip to make this look more personalized since it doesn’t have an RGB lighting.
Its starts to be that time of the year.
Summer season is over here and “Winter is coming” even when its autumn. Upper north had snow already.
Stored the Corvette to garage last weekend.
Nights start to be cold. Yesterday night it was ~1c / ~30f so no targa / open roof weather anymore and day times are way to cold also.
Restoring and modding this keyboard, for I wanted to use it again and not let it gather dust in my damn closet. Also I think today it’s looking much better now than before.
I swapped out switches on my home office keyboard about a month ago. I went with the Akko Silent Fairy switches, which if you want quiet and linear, I highly recommend.
I prefer a quiet switch tbh, but I still want that tactile feel as well for I want that haptic feedback as I type while maintaining a quiet sound if such a switch exists. If it does exists, I bet it’s going to be that quite pricey but at least in the long run it’s worth it.
Then you might want the Akko Penguin. My swap only cost me about $32. I bought two boxes of switches ( 45 each ) on Amazon during a sale, but I think at full price they are $19 a box, so it would be $38.
Milktooth ( he is on youtube, and has great comparison videos ) sells them in boxes of 10 for $3.10 a box, and also have the best comparison and searching I have seen. I am probably going to buy a few boxes to finish off my other keyboard.
Thanks for the suggestion, for now I am sticking with the my full sized keyboard’s default switches for they are quiet enough for use, especially when that keyboard to my surprise has 4 damn foam inside that dampens the sound, and it came out as stock. The only thing that I am going to replace from it would be the key caps, since it uses Double Shot ABS keycaps which they are not bad, but I think icing the key caps a bit with PBT Double Shots would make it better.
Working all day. Today I was on my first online business meeting. Luckily I found tools for transcribing videos at https://www.bluedothq.com/blog/chorus-ai-competitors-alternatives to save my time. Some tools can identify speakers and label transcripts, which can save time during editing too. I like that many transcription tools offer free trials or limited free tiers, but for higher accuracy and features, you may need a paid plan. That’s convy.
