We had some flash flooding and hail in Omaha yesterday. So I thought I would share a couple things from it.
That floating dumpster was 3 blocks from my home.
There is so much water on the window it is hard to make out, but that is hail piled up on my deck, during a heavy rain.

I hope that you guys got through it with no/minimal damage! Sure hail is part and parcel of seasonal weather but it’s never fun!

Yeah, the biggest hassle is that I had a basement widow that leaked. It was not that much water, but the cleanup took a bit, and I had to wash towels.
My 10 minute drive home took 40 minutes, but I got home safely.

We’ve been feeding a family of Pied Wagtails, a Family of crows, Moorhens and a mother Duck and her brood …Oh and the Courgettes are looking good too

That is a mood right there, I did that during the weekends after getting home from our family vacation, for our flight back home was very late at night. Just immediately lay down on my bed, rain sounds playing on the background and just sleep all day, not necessarily all day but just resting overall.

Wet on a three-day road trip down hiway 1 with my bride to Carmel. Had an amazing time. I saw this shirt hanging in one of the shops and I had to have it!
