I’ve just finished putting a dry rub on a 1kg brisket that I’m going to let sit for overnight and then do a low n slow in my lil convection / toaster oven.

thinking about bugging the wife to make a nice tato or pasta salad to go with it.

need to pick up some beer too me thinks.

Made more cookies. These are chocolate crinkle cookies. I haven’t tried one yet since they are still cooling, but the leftover dough was good lol.

Edit: they are good. They are kind of like cakey brownie balls.

well…I just baked some bone-in pork shoulder blade steaks at $350 for 45 minutes, covered in BBQ sauce. I realize I should have tested their temperature after 30 min, as they were at 180F, which is quite a bit higher than the recommended 147F >.<

original recipe called for 300F for 60 min, so I didn’t think 50F higher would half the time, LoL!
