I’m looking for a pair of headphones under $350 that have a massive soundstage and good imaging, with soundstage being most important.
I am not aware of any headphone in that price range that have what you’re looking for, but there will be some options available, but you likely will have to give up some imaging for soundstage, or visa versa, some soundstage for imaging.
990,880 are both great for this
OK, then what headphones have the biggest soundstage for that price
Would the akgk712 be good?
For just pure sound-stage, the SHP 9500 comes to mind.
I’ve heard many people rank the dt880 high up their list of headphones with wide soundstage. I’d like to verify that someday though.
they are good but are position sensitive and not as good at imaging than the 880. if your gaming imaging is much more important than soundstage IMO
If you’re *competitive gaming imagine is much more important. If you just want sound-stage for “immersion”, playing story-driven games, then I think it’s a viable option.
I’m going to have to say the dt880 600 ohm
