I had never considered the “which type of musician experiences the most hearing loss?” question before. As soon as it was posed I thought ‘gotta be classical’. I thought Dr. Glick did a good job explaining why that is.

Her comments about rock and roll artists “loving” their music more than classical musicians was also quite intriguing. It makes sense to a certain degree as rock musicians often also have at least a hand in the writing/creation of their music while classical musicians are often playing music hundreds of years old. It makes sense that the two types of musician are driven by different goals.
