What to buy (around 300 bucks)

Hi everyone. Should I buy a Harmonicdyne Zeus or a Moondrop Starfield and a sennheiser hd560s?

@Ohmboy asked valid questions. Once you answer them we can do a better job at helping you out.

Without any further information, I would recommend going with the HD560s + Starfield. I just think that having a high quality headphone AND an IEM is superior to owning only one headphone.

However, there are many factors that would change my statement above. For example, how much do you plan to use the IEM/headphone? Do you own other headphones/IEMs?

Things like that completely change the perspective

Yep. I know it is a bit of a weird comparison, but that’s all I’ve got money for, not planning on getting a powerful amp right now, so Sundara and other cheap HFM are out of the question.

I listen to female vocals, instrumental jazz, classical, country etc.

Right now I have the Koss Porta Pro and Ifi zen dac with me, I’ve ordered a HiFiMan Ananda and Monolith Liquid Spark at home, but now I’m stuck in the UK and can’t go back home. Need something to listen to for now. I haven’t heard any good iems yet. What would you choose out of the two?

Also, I can get the Austrian Audio HIX65, Grado SR 225x, SR-325x, Sundara and Tin Hifi T4

I listen mainly at the desk, not so much outdoors

Thanks for the help. I know roughly what they sound like, I just don’t know what to choose

If you can order off of UK amazon? then maybe order the Moondrop Aria, Legarcy 2 and Mangird Tea and return the ones you don’t like…or spend more returnable $ and try the Grado Hemps?

+1 on that, based on your music preferences… if the budget can be stretched.
But i still think, that the 300-400 $/€/£ mark is Sundara territory.

Have you ever tried the Meze 99 Classic’s? Great mobile headphones. Beautiful to look at, nice sound, light/comfortable and very easy to drive.
Some find the bass muddy, but I didn’t. List price is $309.00US. Might find a sale or could buy used also.

Thank you everyone for your help. Grado is something I’ve definitely considered, but I’m slightly worried about the treble, and the hemp is ridiculously overpriced here. It’s 420 bucks in US, but 480 pounds in the UK, which is 600 bucks

I have the Meze 99 Noir - I love them and so easy to power, One of go to headphones every day = really fun headphone
