To add further weight to my argument I just saw a review zeos did with the new Stax headphones the 007. In the review he mentioned how they sounded like regular headphones. They didnāt have the grand sound o the L700ās. The 007 have a smaller round driver like regular headphones. Unlike the larger L700ās. I believe when it comes to headphones bigger is better. Even with the best offerings. I can see how this opinion may be unpopular. After all weāve invested a lot of money into these headphones and amps. Also some may feel the form factor of these headphones are large and may look a little silly on someoneās head.
