Hey guys im thinking about geting the DT 1990 PRO but have no clue how to get them to rus as good as possible i want to pay like 200$ at most if thats ok also the Sennheiser HD 660S seme to be a good choice but i can get both for the same price and i always had bayerdynamic gear and they seam much higher quality.

I sell my SMSL M6 the moment my THX 789 arrives in fall and buy the SMSL SU-8 V2
I play my DT 1990 Pro/DT 770 80 Ohm/ Sennheiser 660s/58x/ AKG 701 with:
Earstudio ES100, Fiio BTR3, ifi xDSD and sometimes stationary out of SMSL M6
The 1990s don´t need as much power, like you would think with 250 Ohm and 102 dB
The Tesla 2.0 driver is very efficient.

maybe have a look at ifi Nano iDSD Black Label- you could get it used for under 200Euro
you get mqa support and can use it with an otg cable with your phone or tablet+ via usb with your pc or notebook
here you get an ifi Nano iDSD for 109 Euro used
ok thank you for your fast response and how about a device thats not as portable ? like the one below are those any good ? and i have seen Amps with seperat dec`s but they are to expensive right ?
that one only supports 20-20khz and the headset suports up to 40khz so thats to weak or am i geting something wrong here ?
I’m not sure how available it is in Germany, but he JDS Labs Atom will be the best. It has plenty of power and is cleaner than any amp people have mentioned so far. It also has a very neutral/analytical sound, which is a perfect fit for the 1990.
Get yourself a Topping D10 DAC to pair with it. It’s one of cleanest DACs for under $100.
Your total price is about $180 (USD) for the pair.
I don´t know anything about the V90-HPA
sorry. But seems to me like old tec for a to high price.
I would choose the Topping DX3 Pro if “stationary only” is important and 200 is the highest budget.
The Dac sections seems to do a fairly good job, you have a remote and enough power.

what confuses me is that the DX3Pro is 20 - 20000 Hz and the headphones are 5 - 40000 Hz and i read that 40000 Hz is at least needet to certify as hifi what am i geting wrong ?

die 20-20khz sind die gemessene Ausgangsleistung der Frequenzgang ist tiefer und höher.
Das ist eh alles nur Marketing blabla - keine Sorge und über 18kHz wirst Du eh kaum was hören können.
Ich bin 42 und höre Frequenzen über 17kHZ kaum noch. Das nimmt im Alter oben herum ab.
Was willst Du denn neben den Kopfhörern anschließen?
eine Spielkonsole, einen Sky-Reciever oder einfach nur einen TV? über optisch oder koax vielleicht?
Du kannst mit dem Topping Dein Handy per Bluetooth anschließen.
Vielleicht willst Du in Zukunft aktive Boxen anschließen?
Das sind neben der Soundqualität des DAC/Amps auch Fragen, die man sich stellen sollte.
Was die Qualität des DACs angeht, spielt es in der gehobenen Liga mit.
Power für die leicht zu betreibenden 1990er bringt der Kopfhörerverstärker auf jeden Fall genug mit.
Ich persönlich würde immer DAC und Kopfhörerverstärker trennen, was upgrades in Zukunft leichter macht.
Das entspricht aber nicht Deinem Budget.
hmm ok ja ich will die Kopfhörer nur für den PC zum Musik höher und Filme schauen außerdem bin ich ein großer Fan von Hörspielen und sehr Detailverliebt und Gaming kommt auch noch dazu ich zocke ganz gerne also quasi als Allrounder und will halt die best mögliche Audioqualität für mein Geld und zusammen liegen wir bei Kopfhörer und Amp ja schon bei über 600 € was nicht gerade peanuts sind

ein Tipp: probiere die analytischen Pads, die mit dem 1990er mitgeliefert werden.
Habe dazu schon im Thread was geschrieben. Die vormontierten “balanced pads” sind etwas basslastiger.
Werde ich tun vielen Dank, also würdest du sagen die Combo 1990er mit dem DX3Pro ist Für den Anfag empfehlenswert ?

Schau Dir doch mal den Headphone Amp Bereich hier an.
Da findest Du sicher noch einiges.
