I’m a big fan of the silver, in fact I’m looking at getting the xdsd as I think I’d prefer it over a DAC such as the DX160
The pro iCAN is my endgame AMP. I won’t be able to get it for a few years but I’ll wait.
The xdsd is great, although mine looks like ass right now, actually looks like it went through a fire lol (fingerprints + the protective coating coming off + like a patina developing on uncoated surfaces )
Fingerprints aren’t really an issue for me. And I didn’t know that the stainless steel look was a paint, I thought it was just stainless steel.
Na, it’s magnesium I think, it has a darker coating over the metal

Mine would be a ps Audio stack. Dac/streamer/power amps. Made in USA. For headphones, schiit gear for the same reason. I work manufacturing and like to support my brothers and sisters in the industry of manufacturing in the USA.
Hopefully some time in the next 3-6 months I’ll get something like the SU-8 and an Asgard 3. Maybe if schiit releases an Asgard sized dac without compression for about $200 I’ll get that instead just for the look. I still feel that the SU-8 stacks pretty well with the Asgard 3 as far as I can tell.
