The Canadian one, at least, is definitely hobbyists listing their own re-sells but there are also a sprinkling of listings from small retailers. It has a purchaser feedback history mechanism to help maintain reliability.

I guess we can think of Reverb as the “Etsy” for pro audio.

Oh, it’s my “Home” forum. :blush:

It’s the same Discord based forum as this one is. Everyone is pretty polite and respectful of others opinions.

It was founded by headphones.com in collaboration with Torq in the role of Managing Editor who’s a well known and respected user from head-fi and super best audio friends.

Great amount of info there, and they also have a loaner program to try gear out after meeting certain criteria (based on Discord Trust Levels).

It’s a good forum that I recommend anyone check out. :+1:t4:
