I’m contemplating between Linsoul SIMGOT EA500 LM and LYPERTEK PurePlay Z3 2.0 I am no audiophile but I do have an appreciation for sound especially how clean and close to the original and natural as possible (with also functioning decently for gaming), I heard both of these were pretty good for their price but I know which one to go with and with what to buy with it for natural as possible sound, because I don’t know about codec and stuff really appreciate a guide to buying without going over the 200 dollar mark (including headphones).
Welcome, Riley. You’re comparing a wired IEM to a wireless Bluetooth earbud, so there will be BIG differences.
If you value convenience over sound quality, go with the Lyperteks. If you value sound quality over convenience, the Simgot EA500 LM will curb-stomp the Lyperteks. Not even in the same solar system.
thank you so much, also funny enough about your pfp i also live near buffalo lmao
Just west of Syracuse here. GO BILLS!
Or u can go the middle way, get whatever wired iem you want and pair it up with the TRN BT20 Pro.
I’ve had both versions of the EA500 and the treble caught up to me after a while. I use a Moondrop Chu 2 with an Apple 3.5mm adapter with USBPlayerPro for travel. The 7hz Zero:2 are another set that’s a great value for money.
glad to see this before i made my purchase thanks lol
Many have posted on how smooth, comfortable and great the AFUL Explorer ($119) is, a daily use, all-rounder.
The FIIO KA11($29) is an inexpensive powerful dongle, (amp/dac), for phone use, it does get warm.
I’m big into stars so they immediately seem very appealing to me tbh i think these are the ones for me
any rec for amp/dac that also could work for my laptop and phone?
They’re also the most comfortable IEM I’ve worn. Highly recommend tip rolling with them (and just about all IEMs), though.
I use Dunu S&S tips on mine. Love them.
As far as I know if your laptop has USB C you can use the Fiio KA11.
They make a iOS lightning connector version too.
