My Edifier R1800T3 bookshelf speakers will be delivered tomorrow. From my research they are very similar to the R1700BTs. (I just found these for cheaper) I currently use a FIIO K3 for my Shure 1840 so was planning to connect the speakers directly to back of motherboard audio ports on my desktop. I was wondering if you guys would suggest extra equipment or will the quality difference be small enough given the extra cost of better equipment. (I say equipment as I’m not exactly sure what is best suited for budgetish bookshelf speakers). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks guys!
