Woo Audio WA8 Eclipse Headphone Tube Amplifier and DAC with the HD800s a heavenly headphone pairing!
Nice to see a thread on the wa8, pretty awesome portable tube amp, agreed on being a great pairing for the 800s and other senn. I’d also say it’s pretty enjoyable with a utopia, d8000 pro, adx5000, and t1 gen 2. Also nice with zmf, and surprisingly solid with th900s. The internal dac is decent but bypassing it for a nicer one in a higher end dap is pretty worthwhile imo
A solid alternative with a different sound is a phatlab phantasy ii, like it about equally with the woo for a different sonic focus (actually might have a slight technical edge but I prefer the overall signature/voicing of the woo)
