GS Audio SE12 - by far my best sounding stage,bass,vocal,and extended highs magical find!

Letshuoer EJ07M - most technical set

Yanyin Canon 010 setting I used to love the bass but the BA bass of the SE12 kills it.

Fiio FH5S - unique in its presentation and outstanding build quality my MMCX
Choice

IKKO Obsidian OH10 - solid Bass slam all rounder.

TinHiFi P2 f to remind myself what a less bassy IEM sounds like.

Kinera BD005 Pro. When I want to remind myself what a sybliant IEM sound like.

I have the same question as @Rcayn . If you wouldnā€™t mind, could you give us a little breakdown summary on the Goldplanars? Theyā€™re a set I just havenā€™t heard much about, but they definitely intrigue me. Iā€™d like to know what theyā€™ve got under the hood, so to speak, that puts them up with some elite company in that price range so Iā€™d definitely appreciate any impressions youā€™d be down to share.

A lot of that is addressed here:

If weā€™re talking its most standout feature, itā€™s the timbre. It has this smooth/analog, but incredibly detailed aspect to the sound which is not dissimilar to most descriptions of amt ribbon speakers (I hesitate to call anything ā€œelectrostatic-likeā€ since I havenā€™t heard one myself.) A lot of extension in both directions. A downside is it being very source-picky, both in power and to tamp down some of that upper treble (8k peak).
